Nothing says vacation like a flight at 6:00 am!
Fortunately for us, our first flight was a breeze. The second flight, not so much. We were sandwiched between the most annoying family of OU fans (I know my friend Melissa is smiling as she reads that). The were completely decked out in OU gear. They were walking billboards. The grandma of the group kept saying Shelby, Shelby, where's Shelby? Yes, Ken and I now randomly just start saying Shelby, Shelby, where's Shelby. Oh and they had a baby that was screaming at the top of its lungs. It was basically our version of hell.
We made it to the beach! Ken is enjoying his first of many mojitos.
Not a bad view for a Saturday afternoon.
Enjoying a banana daiquiri for my friend Jill!
Ken decided to test out the water
Our view from our balcony
It would be over much faster if he would just smile in the first photo
Taking it all in
While we were waiting on Rob and Michelle to arrive, someone decided to take a little nap.
Look who finally arrived! A little dancing and cigar smoking was happening in the lobby bar.
Ken and Rob
Michelle and me
We left the lobby bar to continue dancing in the night club. It is quite clear that this girl is having a good time!
Michelle, I am posting this picture of White Pants just for you. You're Welcome.
Ken and I at the night club. We had a great time!
This picture is also for Michelle. The lady in red kind of had a thing for her. Michelle was dying for a cigarette, so I told her this lady was her best bet to score one. I am pretty sure this lady, could have kicked both Ken and Rob's butts. This is kind of where things started to go down hill....
We ended our first night by delivering this one back to her room. Rob had gone to bed hours before, and she had a little too much fun!
It was such a great first day!
