Happy Birthday to Me...

Saturday, November 10th was my birthday.  We had such a fabulous weekend celebrating.  Ken really did spoil me

We started the weekend off by going to Lawrence on Friday night.  Southeast Missouri State University was playing KU in basket ball and since Ken went to Semo, we decided to go to the game to watch.

Ken and me outside of Allen Field House.  Sorry Melissa, I had to wear a KU shirt to look like a fan.

On Saturday, I ran a half marathon with my friend Laura.  She was in town for the basketball game and I just knew I could talk her into running the Pilgrim Pacer with me.

After the half marathon, I showered and changed, and picked up my friend Jill to go to my friend Heather's baby shower.

Me with the mama to be.  Heather has has a long journey to become a mama and I was so happy to be able to celebrate this day with her.  I cannot wait to meet her little guy that I have named LeRoy Eugene.  I am not so sure that she is on board with my name choice, but I think she will come around.  :)

Erinn and me

Heather, Jill, Erinn, Me, Jill, and Melissa.  We missed you Michelle!

My girl and me.  She sang Happy Birthday to me.  It is too bad it was so warm, otherwise she would have run the half marathon with me.

We were treated to a gorgeous sunset.  That is the one thing about Kansas, we get gorgeous sunsets quite often.

We went to dinner at Carmen's in Park Place.  It was so good!

With my handsome husband.

And as all of my friends know, no birthday of mine is complete without ice cream cake!  That Ken sure is sweet!

It was such a fabulous weekend!  Thanks to Ken and all of my friends for spoiling me!
