Let's Do This...
I cannot believe this day is finally here! We leave for NYC tomorrow and I am thrilled beyond measure! I have been wanting to run this marathon since my running buddy, Susan, ran it in 2007. After three years of being denied in the lottery, I made it in by default for 2011.
We have all types of fun things planned. Ken is going to want to shoot me by the time this vacation is over. On the otherhand, I know he is thrilled to have me finally running the darn marathon, so that I will stop talking about. it. :) Ken, I know you love me.
My bib number is 27483 if you want to track me. I officially start running at 10:10 am EST. I am trying to break 3:55, but not sure how that will work since I just ran a marathon four weeks ago??
