On the treadmill. Yep, thanks to Mother Nature, I had to run 20 miles on the treadmill yesterday. I think I might be a hampster now.
I have to say, it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I went into it knowing that I could do it, so I am thinking that my positive attitude helped.
This is the longest training run I have ever run and it is certainly the longest I have ever run on the treadmill. I finished really strong and felt like I could keep going. I am hoping this is a sign of what is to come in St. Louis!
Huge mental victory!

Congrats -- you are a rockstar! I thought I was gonna have to do 18 on the TM yesterday, but the sun came out, the weather warmed way up and the snow melted (yeah!). Congrats on the physican ... and mental ... accomplishment. You are doing awesome!
20 on the treadmill is tough! Sounds like maybe it was a better run than last week's shorter run, though - with a strong finish this time! That's great!
Hai Keri,
Found you through Heidi, One step at a time and like your blog. Have read some of your posts.
I'm impressed that you ran 20 miles on the dreadmill. I hate that thing and use it only for intervals.
If you have the time sometime feel free to visit my blog.

I COULD NOT DO a 20 miler on the treadmill. Wow! I would run in a tornado first! A blizzard! A hailstorm! What have you. Wow! Impressive!
BTW Our nice winter is long gone - winter has returned!

Listen here Mrs Jackson!!!!!! You are AN INSPIRATION to this mama who has a few baby pounds to lose ;)
I can't WAIT until my six week checkup to get the okay to workout again! I've never been so hungry to go on a nice run and start p90x again! Great job girl, you are a rockstar!
Wow, 20 miles on a treadmill!
I have done a fair amt of treadmilling in the past but I think the furthest I've ever gone was only 16. Good for you staying positive. I think that really helps in almost any less-than-ideal situation. Sounds like you are ready to rock St. Louis!!
PS - Thanks for the kind comments on my blog!
SO PROUD of you girl! WOW- 20 miles- that's amazing! Way to go! :) I can't imagine doing that on a treadmill... so awesome!
Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day.
All I can say is WOW! 20 miles on a treadmill! That rocks. I get so bored!
Spoke to soon on the other post! Here are the details and I have to say, you really must have a very positive attitude because I expected way more griping for 20 on the tread!
Well done, girl!
