Europe 2018...Day 3: Copenhagen, Denmark

After a long overnight flight, we arrived to Frankfurt, Germany and boarded our connecting flight to Copenhagen, Denmark.  Once in Copenhagen, we took the train to the city center and found our hotel.  We stayed at Hotel Tiffany which was in a great location.

We dropped our bags and wandered around.  We found a brewery nearby and stopped to enjoy a drink.

Craft beer for the mister and wine for the lady

Happy to be in Copenhagen!

We enjoyed our drinks and walked around for a bit.  We only had this one night in Copenhagen before flying to Norway.  We knew we would fly back to Copenhagen at the end of our trip and have a full day, so we stayed close to our hotel.

The garden where we stopped for drinks and all of the bikes.  I like how private it was with all the bushes.  And those bikes, man oh man, do people ride bikes in Copenhagen.

Wandering around Copenhagen

We ended up finding the meat packing district and stopping for dinner outside.  We later learned that this area of Copenhagen used to be a little rough but has taken on new life with the locals.  We sat outside and enjoyed our dinner and drinks before wandering back to our hotel while the sun was still out at 10:00 pm.

This area fills up with locals after work

Kod Og Flaskehals is were we had dinner outside.  It was delicious and I had my second serving of fish and chips of the trip.

After dinner we walked back to our hotel to get ready for our early flight to Bergen in the morning.  This trip was very difficult to plan and required a lot of flying around instead of taking the train, which was new for us.  Tomorrow we see our first fjord!
