Week six was another pretty tough week, as I had another code blue situation that did not end well. No matter the age or illness of the person, it is never an easy situation to deal with.
Week seven was one of those weeks where I had a day leaving the hospital shaking my head. One of my patients called 911 and threatened myself and others with an IV pole while she was freaking out saying that we were holding her in an Islamic prison. Yeah. The best part was during her freak out when she started playing an Usher song and swaying back and forth. I could hardly hold it together. Mental note: need to work on poker face.
