10 Years...

Ten years ago today, which was a random Tuesday, Ken and I got married on a beach in Negril, Jamaica.  10 years!  I truly cannot believe it has been that long, but at the same time, I do not remember life without Ken and I being together.  The last 10 years have been filled with a lot of great memories.  Here is to many, many more!

Here is a little video I put together with some of our adventures over the last 10 years.

Happy Anniversary Ken!!

Arizona...

Last month my friend Veronica and I went to Phoenix for a girls' getaway.  We had a lot of fun relaxing and enjoying the sunshine!

We stayed at the Biltmore for a few nights and then drove to Sedona for a night so we could do a little hiking and visit one of the wineries.  It was Veronica's first time to go to Arizona and she was a big, big fan!

The Biltmore grounds are so beautiful

Veronica poolside and celebrating that she is sans kids!

Poolside pina coladas are my favorite!

The beautiful Catalina Pool, where Marilyn Monroe used to hang out when she visited the Biltmore

Enjoying wine and charcuterie at Paige Springs Vineyards.  We enjoyed the seating by the creek where we were treated with the siting of a bald eagle.

We were up early to hike to Devil's Bridge

Can you believe this was Veronica's first ever hike???

On the Devil's Bridge.  Being on the bridge was not scary at all and I am absolutely terrified of drop offs these days.

We soaked up every bit of sunshine we could!

We had a great girls' trip.  Veronica and I work together at the hospital and have been in a lot of high-stress situations together.  It was so nice for us to get away and just RELAX.  Any trip to the dessert always reminds me how much I love it.  I cannot wait for the next trip back!

Girls' Day!

Over Easter weekend, Ken and Rob made plans for a camping trip which left Michelle and me on our own.  We decided that a girls' day with a slumber party was in order!  It has been quite a while since we had an official slumber party and the Jackson girls were ready!

Kya and I picked Jill up and headed to Michelle's before going to one of our favorite places, Somerset Ridge.

Kya was so happy to be joining the girls!

Three blondes and a husky.  Do not let Kya's face fool you, she was having a lot of fun at the winery.

Kya loves her Aunt Michelle so much.  Michelle treats Kya like one of her own.

Jill, Michelle, and me.  We laughed so hard at the winery.  Laughter with good friends is something I think everyone needs.

We left the winery and started driving to Michelle's.  On the way, we took a slight detour and stopped off at a local bar called the Hideout.  Kya even went into the bar.

Kya was pretty embarrassed by some of the shenanigans that were taking place.

I wish I could explain what was happening

Taking on the Hideout

The wheels kind of started falling off at this point.  We got to Michelle's and ate a little dinner and spent the remainder of the evening on the deck laughing and dancing.

Louie enjoyed a bone

We enjoyed wine and snacks.  It was such a fun day!

Thanks to Michelle for hosting us girls!
